The 2011 Hyundai Azera was revealed with its upgrades at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show. The 2011 Azera GLS gets an enhanced 3.3-liter V6 with variable valve timing on both the intake and exhaust side, resulting in 260-horsepower. Hyundai says that the 2011 Azera will return 20 mpg city and 28 mpg highway; better than the 2010. Automatic transmission comes standard, and the vehicle itself is 26 pounds lighter.
Some cosmetic changes to the 2011 Azura include a new front bumper fascia, redesigned headlamps, a new chrome grille and round foglights. The rear gets new LED taillights and a redesigned bumper. Inside, the changes are minor, but include aluminum graining on the center console. Also available is the Azera Limited that is expected to gain better fuel economy than the last one.
