After being released a little over a year ago, the guys at Hyundai have decided to update it in preparation for the US launch of the larger Equus sedan. The 2011 Genesis will sport exterior updates that will include new front and rear bumpers, updated headlamps, and new signature styling on the grille. As drastic as the exterior changes on the 2011 Genesis may sound, the vehicle's core components such as the chassis, and suspension, will not change.

This upgrade is mostly cosmetic. There is also a possibility that the 2011 Genesis will add a supercharged version of Hyundai's 4.6-liter Tau V8 that'll produce in excess of 420 horsepower as an option, in addition to the current V6 and V8 the model offers.
