2011 Kia Borrego: Coming Back

Industry News

After a year's absence from the U.S. market, the Kia Borrego is slated to return for the 2011 model year. Introduced in late 2008, Kia saw poor sales of the Borrego after initial sales targets fell short. Kia never officially marketed a 2010 Borrego, and it seemed like the Borrego has disappeared. The 2011 Borrego is offered in two different trim levels, both of which are available with a V6 or V8 engine and rear- or four-wheel drive.

The Borrego performs well for the types of activities that people would purchase a rugged SUB for, such as off-roading to a camping sport or towing. Inside, the interior is comfortable and luxurious overall, with well bolstered front seats that leave us waiting to see what Kia will have in store for us when the Borrego is released.
