The 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show will play host to the debut of the new Volvo C70 Inscription, the possible last upgraded model of the Swedish roadster before it ends production in 2013. The special edition hard-top convertible features several sleek design cues and is a fitting end to the older roadster. The C70 Inscription special edition features a new grille, LED daytime running lights and "Inscription" logos throughout the interior.

Potential buyers have their choice of any 2012 C70 engine, such as the turbocharged 5-cyldiner T5 engine or a geographically-specific turbocharged diesel 5-cylinder from the D4 and D3. Three choices are available in terms of exterior color along with two interior choices. Bespoke interior features like Sovereign Hide leather, aluminum pieces and a dash also wrapped in leather are included. Only 2,000 units of the 2012 Volvo C70 Inscription will be produced each year until the roadster ends production in 2013. It will make its debut at next week's LA Auto Show.
