The 2011 Lexus GS combines the sharp driving dynamics of a sports sedan with the luxury, refinement and quality we've come to expect from Toyota's luxury division. The 2011 GS models make a strong visual statement with excellent handling on winding roads as well. It's available in the GS300 RWD, GS300 AWD, and GS430 RWD trims. The GS300 trim is powered by a 3.0-liter four-cam, four valves per cylinder direct injection V6 engine delivering a horsepower of 245.

The upscale GS430 trim is equipped with a 4.3-liter, four cam, four valves per cylinder V8 engine pumping in 300 horsepower. A five speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard, and the 2011 GS is still considered to be largely a carryover. The GS features driver's and front passenger's dual stage airbags, front seat mounted side airbags, front and rear side curtain airbags. Also included are driver's and front passenger's knee airbags, electronic brake force distribution, and the list is endless.

The 2011 GS has rear wheel drive, and a four wheel double wishbone independent suspension that all add to this vehicle's impeccable safety record. Inside, the 2011 Lexus GS comes with a stream of equipment that includes golden bird's eye maple or red walnut interior trim, and perforated leather trimmed interior. The GS continues that tradition and has consistently received high marks for luxurious materials and exemplary build quality. While the highly adjustable, heated front seats are cushy and comfortable on long drives, headroom and legroom are in short supply in both front and rear seats.

The cabin itself is built of soft, high-quality materials such as semi-aniline leather and warm woods that creat a comfortable atmosphere that even some other luxury cars can't match.
