Environment

Lincoln introduced its new 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid at the 2010 New York Auto Show as Lincoln's first hybrid. The MKZ is an instant hit and surely has more standard luxury than its competitors. The MKZ Hybrid is a parallel hybrid powertrain, a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle I-4 hybrid engine that works in tandem with an electric motor. Together it produces 191 net horsepower and, similar to the Fusion Hybrid.

The SmartGauge with EcoGuide has also been updated for the 2011 MKZ and gives drivers feedback on long-term fuel efficiency with images of white flowers. The MKZ is capable of running under electric power up to 47 mph and hasa 41 mpg/city EPA rating. The only thing the MKZ need to watch out for is the stiff competition from the Lexus HS250h.
