The 2011 Mazda RX-8 is a 4-passenger sports car that is available in three trims, just like its predecessor. Like the 2010, the 2011 RX-8 continues to sport the "suicide doors" that were all the fuss. While the 2011 RX-8 can achieve the speed of 60 mph in just 7 seconds, its fuel economy is terrible, just barely reaching 16 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. Since the fuel economy is still bad, it's clear that the engine hasn't changed in 2011.

The lowest trim comes featuring 16-inch tires, A/C, CD player, and powered accessories. As the trim level rises so do the lists of amenities that can be found in the RX-8. All RX-8s are equipped with anti-lock brakes and airbags. Sadly, 2011 is not the RX-8's year.
