AMG CLS 63

Segment
Sedan

The 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG is the high performance variant of the regular CLS. This four-door coupe closely resembles the previous model years, so any changes made would be unnoticeable to the untrained eye. It's clear though, that the 2011 CLS63 AMG will go up against the Aston Martin Rapide, Audi A7, and Porsche Panamera in terms of performance, quality, and luxury.

The 2011 CLS63 AMG is fitted with a 6.3-liter V8 engine that is capable of delivering around 525 horsepower. Besides the new engine, the CLS63 AMG will also receive the well known quad-exhaust system, custom suspensions, stronger brakes as well as a new aerodynamic kit and the AMG wheels. To show that Mercedes is also environmentally conscious, the automaker is planning on building a hybrid version of the CLS which will borrow the powertrain from the 2010 S400 Hybrid.
