2011 Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG- Review

The 2011 Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG comes as a supercharged SUV sporting a 500 horsepower V8 that'll lead you to believe that you can conquer any terrain. To help you along with your ambitions of total road domination, the G55AMG comes standard with AWD. The G55 AMG trades in the "regular" G55's sole five-speed automatic transmission for an industry-first seven-speed automatic designed to improve acceleration and fuel efficiency.

The transmission has a manual shift gate and manual-shift steering wheel buttons for convenience. Coming standard on the exterior of the G55 AMG are 18-inch wheels, and to assist in wet weather, the SUV is equipped with anti-skid, traction control and ABS. Not too bad for a SUV.
