The MINI Cooper has come a long way since it was first introduced in 1959. For the 2011 model of the MINI Cooper Convertible, owner BMW has presented us with plans to produce the Cooper Convertible Roadster. The 2011 Convertible Roadster will be based on the MINI Cooper S platform with a very unique model. It will feature a small cloth convertible roof and no rear seats mean more trunk space. The 2011 Convertible Roadster will be outfitted with a 1.6-liter V4 engine with a twin scroll turbocharger that'll deliver 175-hp.

It was also be available either with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The 2011 MINI Cooper Convertible Roadster will also be fitted with a unique system of instructs designed to help achieve the best engine performance possible.
