The 2011 Dodge Ram Chassis Cab have begun to hit North American commercial vehicle dealers, and are available in three weight classes. In addition to the weight classes, the Chassis cab also comes in three trim levels, and four cab-to-axle lengths. The truck is powered by a choice of two engines: a 5.7-liter HEMI, and the proven commercial grade 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel.

To go with those engines, there are three transmissions available; a 6-speed manual that is diesel only, a 5-speed automatic, and 6-speed automatic diesel, and a choice of two-or four-wheel drive. The entire Chassis Cab line includes all-new styling, offering a tougher more capable look with improved aerodynamics. To accommodate cooling requirements of the 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel engine, the grille is enlarged over the light-duty application. This is an unbeatable commercial truck.
