While Scion has released, or is planning to release, details on its new 2011 cT and xB models, the xD seems to be missing. It could be that after the low sales the xD faced with its un-updated 2010 xD release, car maker and Scion owner Toyota has decided to scrap any plans of a 2011 model. Initially, the Scion xD was developed as the replacement for the xA, bringing more style, space, and sophistication to Scion's entry-level offering.
Turned out that the xD also lacked space and comfort for a hatchback model. The Scion xD does possess a more powerful engine than the xA, and it has plenty of features for its under $15K price. It also offers two add-on options as well.
