The 2011 Volkswagen Golf has new exterior stylings that are sourced from the Scirocco and Passat CC. The 2011 Golf features a new front grille and headlamps as well as a restyled set of taillights and an updated interior. The 2011 Golf is offered in a 2.5-lier five-cylinder engine, the same that the Jetta and Beetle share. The 2011 is also offered in a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel that is currently in the US Jetta and Jetta Sportwagen.
Volkswagen has been promoting the 2011 Golf that's diesel powered as a sportier model that comes equipped with a sport-tuned suspension ad 17-inch wheels as standard fare. With the Golf diesel, the EPA ratings are 48 mpg or more on the freeway. The interior of the 2011 also features quality materials and craftsmanship inside and out.
