SMS Supercars has just released their one-off 2012 302 Mustang Convertible at one of their open house events in California. The custom convertible was built to celebrate SMS' recently signed partnership with the Sturgis Mustang Rally. Steve Saleen's performance offshoot company gave the Mustang their Lizstick Red custom paintjob, however the tuning wasn't merely aesthetic.

What sets this Mustang apartment from the other SMS 302 Mustangs are an Airaid Cold Air Intake and a Boss 302 intake manifold borrowed from Ford Racing. Power output is measured at over 500hp. A full bodykit was also affixed with the interior receiving a leather and Alcantara treatment. It sits on a set of 20-inch wheels. The Saleen Inc. chief's new company has really outdone themselves with this terrific one-off offering. Take a look at the photos and let us know what you think about the 2012 302 Mustang Convertible by SMS Supercars.
