Audi has released the official racing livery for their A5 DTM race cars.
Audi is prepping for the 2012 DTM Season with some official testing in Valencia. Four of the eight teams running the Audi A5 race car have released their livery and they are certainly bold designs. The A5 racer features several slick guises, such as Red Bull, Auto Test, Audi Ultra, Schaeffler and Playboy. The teams that unveiled their livery were ABT Sportsline, ABT, Team Phoenix and Team Rosberg.
Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich, Audi Motorsport Chief, said "That almost all our partners from last year continue to be with us and that we managed to inspire the enthusiasm of Alpinestars, EMC2, Kicker and TAG Heuer as new strong brands for the DTM and for Audi clearly shows that the DTM's popularity will increase even further this year." The 2012 DTM Series kicks off on April 29th at Hockenheimring.
