When the new 2012 BMW 1-Series was revealed just days ago, some of the pictures included it with the M Sport package. And while the word is still out regarding the new car's front-end styling, the M Sport package gives the car a revised front and rear bumper with larger air intakes and new M wheels. The interior features the typical M treatment, such as a unique steering wheel, shifter, and aluminum pedals.
New sport seats and sportier trim details such as aluminum inserts will also come standard. Overall, we think the M Sport package improves the car's look, especially up front. With sort of a love it or hate it styling, the regular 2012 1-Series is already being considered by some to be the German automaker's newest ugly duckling. Expect for the M Sport package to debut this fall.
