The 2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline has made its debut at the Festival of LXs. The annual event is claimed to be the largest owner gathering of Dodge Chargers, Magnums and Challengers along with Chrysler 300s in the U.S. Chrysler assumed that an 'owners' event is the best place to shop their latest special edition Challenger. The Challenger Rallye Redline is based on the 2012 Dodge Challenger SXT Plus and features a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 rated at 305hp and 268 lb-ft of torque.

Performance has been enhanced through the use of a tuned suspension, steering system, uprated rear axle and bigger brakes. It sits on a set of 20-inch wheels wrapped in performance-grade rubbers. "Infused with Dodge DNA, the new Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline adds even more excitement to our iconic muscle car, and to show our appreciation to our most hard-core enthusiasts, we revealed this new model at Spring Fest. With its unique Redline Red accented exterior details, available Radar Red leather, performance suspension and brakes, and 305 horsepower V6 with paddle shifters getting 27 mpg..." rambled Reid Bigland, President and CEO of Dodge Brand.

Bigland continued: "This new Challenger fuses the nameplate's iconic heritage with modern Dodge styling and performance." Styling comes in the form of four exterior color options and either Radar Red leather or Dark Slate Grate leather on the interior. It features a premium sound system along with SIRIUS/XM satellite radio, automatic temperature control and Keyless Enter 'n Go. The 2012 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline is available for order now and will arrive in dealerships by April. It carries an MSRP of $28,745.
