2012 Ford Mustang GT Velocity Edition Specs Released

The 2012 Mustang GT has received some perks in the performance and styling departments, thanks to Velocity.

German tuning house Velocity has just released the first photos of their take on the 2012 Ford Mustang GT and all the information that goes along with it. The aftermarket program given to the American muscle car is thorough to say the least and adds some style and substance to the 2012 model. Set for debut at the Essen Motor Show, the tuning program enhances engine output from the Mustang GT's 5.0-liter V8 from 412hp to 519hp.

A new muffler unit, digital gear display and shift knob also find their way into Velocity's program. In terms of styling, the Velocity Edition features a carbon trunk-lid, vented hood, KW coilovers for an adjustable suspension and a set of 22-inch Giovanni Martuni wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero rubbers. A bigger set of brakes was also added to help handle the Mustang GT Velocity Edition's extra power. Pricing for the 2012 Ford Mustang Velocity GT Edition is set at €74,999. You can see it in full when it debuts at the 2011 Essen Motor Show.
