2012 Jaguar XF Facelift to Debut in NYC Show

2011 New York Auto Show

Jaguar has announced that its most important model, the XF, will be debuted at the upcoming New York Auto Show. This is an important landmark occasion for the recently struggling automaker, especially since the Jaguar XF will be debuted as a face-lifted version. The face-lifted model has received a makeover that includes a new front fascia with new lights, a redesigned front grille and reshaped bumper.

The interior has also received some tweaks here and there, and there's even a new tech system and an upgraded suspension for improved ride and handling. The biggest news for the XJ is the introduction of a new 2.2-liter four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine developed by Ford. This engine is good for 190-horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque and is matted to a new eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox. Stay tuned for live photos coming in mid-April.
