Kia has just released the pricing information for their new 2012 Soul. The new Soul has had some work done on the exterior for a fresh look. Side mirrors, wheels, lighting and the front and rear bumpers all get updates. The top trim Soul! will feature front and rear LED lights and 18-inch wheels. The base package for the Soul will cost $13,900 and it is powered by either a 2.0-liter engine that can churn out 164hp or a 1.6-liter that puts out 138hp.

The base trim beats out its competition's (Scion xB and Nissan Cube) MSRP by a few hundred. The 1.6-liter engine carries a class-leading fuel efficiency of 35mpg. The mid-level Soul A/T will run $15,700 while the top model Soul! will cost slightly under $20,000. Kia's UVO infotainment system is featured on the interior of the Soul!.
