All week there's been a barrage of photos coming in of the upcoming 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Some were released by the automaker, while others were leaked images that originally appeared on a South Korean forum. And now we have gotten a hold of the first photos, although not official, of the updated coupe's interior and engine. First off, these photos are of the South Korean-spec model, but it's unlikely there'll be many changes when it arrives stateside.

From what we can see, the overall shape of the dashboard and instrument panels remain relatively unchanged, it's the design of the lower and center console and infotainment screen that have been given the most attention. Also redesigned are the air conditioning and audio systems. Hyundai has also added three gauges directly under the radio controls. Looking at the engine shots, we can see the new 3.8-liter V6 with direct injection, the same powerplant from the 2012 Genesis sedan. All told, it produces some 306hp and 266lb-ft of torque.

Transmission options will probably include a six-speed manual along with the automaker's new eight-speed automatic. Official photos and other details should be released any day now. Stay tuned.
