Koenigsegg has updated their Agera range for the 2013 MY, conveniently outlining them as eight new features. First up is the "world's first" hollow, one-piece, super-light carbon-fiber wheel, where the only metal part in the wheel is the tire valve. Next, the new Agera and Agera R will be the first production engines in the world to use nano-surfaced cylinder sleeves, which help to reduce friction and fuel consumption.

A new in-house developed management system, a new lighter rear exhaust section and new front/side winglets for the Agera R providing 20kg more downforce at 155mph as well as reduced drag are the next trio of updates. Finally, Koenigsegg's unique Triplex suspension becomes standard on the 2013 Agera R, the Koenigsegg Electronic Stability (KES) is now standard on all models, and the rev limiter has been raised from 7250rpm to 7500rpm. As a result, power on the Agera increases from 940 to 960hp, and on the Agera R from 1,115 to 1,140hp.

Koenigsegg also reminded us of the Agera hypercar's capabilities by reiterating some of its specifications, including a 273mph top speed and a a 0-200mph time of 17.68 seconds.
