Lexus has just shown off their face-lifted LX 570 SUV at the 2012 North American International Auto Show. At first glance, the refreshed model is basically a Land Cruiser with a Lexus grille and upgraded accoutrements meant to give the big SUV some luxury indicative of Lexus models. The redesigned interior is where Lexus has made the most changes for the 2013 model, giving the eight-seater a slick mahogany wood trim and some legit cashmere leather trim.

The center console's dark chrome finish contrasts nicely with the rest of the interior. The finish makes its way onto the side air vents, perfect for drawing attention to its now-standard four-zone independent climate control system. Lexus' Enform application cache featuring Bing search, Pandora and Yelp is included, along with a sat-nav system, upgraded stereo system and the Application Suite smartphone connectivity feature round out the LX 570's new features on the inside. A 19-speaker Mark Levinson stereo system is also available for banging some beats and annoying all the other residents on your block.

The exterior has received some LED trim to further separate the new model from its predecessor. Revised bumpers and new 20-inch wheels also give the 2013 LX 570 some added street-cred. As CarBuzz previously reported back in mid-December, the 2013 Lexus LX 570 will retain its 5.7-liter V8 engine. It will be paired to a six-speed automatic transmission which will deliver 383hp and 403 lb-ft of torque to all of its aforementioned 20-inch wheels. The refreshed 2013 Lexus LX 570 is currently on display now at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.
