Nissan is showing up to the 2012 Detroit Auto Show with two new concepts a NV-based “Food Truck.”
We've seen spy shots before of the new 2013 Nissan Pathfinder and reported that it would debut next month at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show. Well, turns out we were right and then some. Nissan has just confirmed that a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder concept car will debut at the 2012 North American International Auto Show alongside a pair of van concepts, including a NV200 EV and a NV200 food truck, which promises some "local Detroit flair."
The next-generation Pathfinder has been stealing all the headlines around the 'net. It will feature a unibody construction and it shares the Infiniti JX's platform. The EV NV200 concept is currently being tested by FedEx across the pond in London. It runs on the Nissan Leaf's batteries and drivetrain. To show the versatility of the NV200 van, Nissan has fitted one with food truck capabilities. Good stuff. Keep an eye on CarBuzz, as we will bring you all the breaking news on Nissan's three models making their way into the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, set to kick off in January.
