Believe it or not, Chevrolet has still not released official power figures for its all-new 2014 Corvette Stingray. Despite being revealed back in January at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, there are still several unanswered details about the C7 that enthusiasts and potential buyers are anxious to learn. But today some PDF file scans first posted on the Corvette7 forum have revealed the new Stingray coupe will have a total of 455 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, a 5 hp and 10 lb-ft increase over GM's original estimated numbers.

The Stingray convertible, however, comes in at exactly 450 hp and 450 lb-ft. Both are powered by a new 6.2-liter LT1 V8 which Chevy claims is the "most powerful and efficient standard Corvette engine ever." We're awaiting word in regards to official fuel economy numbers, but that information should be coming quite soon as the Corvette Stingray is set to arrive in select Chevy dealerships this summer.
