2014 Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition Revealed

Special Edition

With just 500 examples planned, the Premiere Edition Corvette Stingray is all set to become a collector's item one day.

To celebrate the launch of the all-new 2014 Vette, Chevrolet has just released details and photos of the Corvette Stingray Premiere Edition. And it’s blue. Coming with the range-topping 3LT trim, only 500 examples of this edition are to be built, each featuring said Laguna Blue Tincoat exterior paint, Brownstone suede interior as well as other suede-wrapped and carbon fiber interior bits. Owners will also be treated to a visible carbon fiber roof, hood stripe, and "Stingray"-logo sill plates and wheel caps.

Each car also comes with custom Corvette-branded luggage. But perhaps the best thing the car has going for it, other than one day becoming a collector’s item, is that it’s equipped with the Z51 Performance Package along with Magnetic Ride Control. Combined with its 450 horsepower, 6.2-liter LT1 V8, each Premiere Edition Corvette Stingray will have a unique vehicle identification number along with an exclusive dash plaque. Official pricing wasn’t released but if you’re interested in getting your hands on one, you’d better call your Chevy dealer fast, as each one of these limited edition Stingrays will undoubtedly sell out very quickly.
