Back in the day, Dodge offered the 1970 Challenger with something called a "Shaker" front hood. When the car was revived just a few years ago, this classic feature was notably absent. But now it's back. Dodge has just unveiled the 2014 Challenger R/T Shaker, which features a functional Satin Black exposed-element cold-air intake system. Lift the hood and you'll also notice a "Shaker" badge that's reminiscent of the 1970s original. So why is it called "Shaker?" The engine-mounted hood scoop "shakes" with the powertrain's movement.

This design allows for cooler air back into the engine. Power, of course, comes from the 5.7-liter Hemi V8. In addition, the Shaker package comes with a Super Track Pack that adds high-performance steering gear, brake linings, monotube shock absorbers, and all-season tires. Total cost for this awesomeness: $36,995. In addition to the above, Dodge has a new limited-edition 2014 Mopar Challenger. Limited to only 100 units, it too receives the Shaker hood, an upgraded interior and other exterior graphics. Mopar did its part with a number of new add-ons from its catalogue; pricing has yet to be released.
