2014 Lincoln MKC Looks Ready for Production

Spy Shots

Latest spy shots reveal production model will closely follow concept.

Lincoln’s MKC Concept that debuted in Detroit this year must have been very well received, as these spy shots of a prototype wearing minimal camo suggest the carmaker has stayed very true to the concept’s design. The Escape-based Lincoln will come in FWD and AWD but unlike it’s crossover cousin from Ford, the MKC will only be available with the 2.0-liter turbo-four unit to ensure the vehicle is perceived as upmarket.

In terms of styling, the MKC retains the concept’s svelte headlights and attractive split-wing grille design, as well as the horizontal taillights and wraparound liftgate. Production of the Lincoln MKC will start in December of this year, so a debut at the LA Auto Show next month seems a nailed-on certainty.
