VW is preparing a modest facelift for the European hatchback.
After almost four years on the market, Volkswagen has decided it’s time to spruce up the Polo. These spy shots of a prototype undergoing road testing show VW is making minimal changes to the popular hatchback, including a revised front bumper and smaller antenna. Further exterior upgrades could be made prior to the car’s release, but an updated interior is a nailed-on certainty. Revised engines are also likely to offer improved performance and efficiency once the 2014 Polo debuts as expected at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
