Three-and-a-bit years after the Swedish carmaker's takeover, Volvo's joint venture with parent company Geely has finally born fruit with the long wheelbase S60L enjoying its public debut at the Guangzhou Motor Show. Designed exclusively for Chinese consumption, the S60L has an 80 mm longer wheelbase than the S60, giving rear passengers the extra legroom they are so desperate for. Engines carry over from the stock sedan, including a 241-hp 2.0-liter turbo-four and a 300-hp 3.0-liter V6. Sales starts in December, with the Volvo S60L priced at around 220,000 yuan ($36,000 approx.).
