Sport sedan set to be unveiled on April 16.
Earlier this year in Detroit, Acura revealed what it had in mind to replace both the TSX and TL, with a prototype version of the 2015 TLX sedan taking center stage at the event. The carmaker has now confirmed the production variant of the TLX is ready and will be on display at the New York Auto Show next month. The base model will pack a 2.4-liter four-pot mated to Honda’s new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while a 3.5-liter V6 will be offered with a new nine-speed automatic.
The front-wheel-drive TLX will come with Acura’s P-AWS four-wheel-steering system and an optional Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive (with new torque-vectoring control logic) comes with the more potent engine. Check out pictures of the TLX Concept and look out for snaps of the production version as we approach the NY Auto Show that kicks off April 16.
