Having whittled the list down from 31 to a seven-strong shortlist, it will now be up to a 58-member jury from 22 European countries to decide which car will be crowned the 2015 Car of the Year. The overall winner will be announced at the Geneva Motor Show in March, where this year the Peugeot 308 was awarded the top title. With models such as the Porsche Macan and Audi TT not making the cut, this year's shortlist, in alphabetical order, is as follows:

The BMW 2-Series Active Tourer, Citroen C4 Cactus, Ford Mondeo, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Nissan Qashqai, Renault Twingo and Volkswagen Passat. So which gets your vote?
