Minor changes in store for 2015 Model Year.
After a year on the market, it’s time for Chevy to make some changes to the Corvette Stingray. Thanks to this leaked order guide, we can show you what's afoot for 2015. An optional eight-speed paddle-shift automatic is the main mechanical update, which the guide says will come with a 2.41 limited-slip differential. As for its aesthetics, the biggest addition is a new ZF1 Appearance Package. Ostensibly, it’s the ZF1 Performance Package without the mechanical upgrades, consisting of a body-color spoiler and five-spoke silver alloys.
Other new options include carbon-fiber badges, black and silver valve stems, and a new Carbon Fiber Ground Effects Package that adds a new front splitter, more aggressive rear spoiler and rocker panels. Shark Gray Metallic and Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic replace Lime Rock Green Metallic and Cyber Gray Metallic on the paint color option list, while inside, the 2015 coupe can be ordered with a suede-quilted headliner and the convertible with a carbon-fiber tonneau cover. The 2015 Stingray will also be available with OnStar 4G LTE service including a built-in WiFi spot, and the new Performance Data Recorder will be included with the navigation system. Unfortunately, there’s no leaked info on the 2015 Corvette Z06.
