Buyers might want to save a few more grand before heading to their nearest Ford dealer.
With the 2015 Ford Mustang just days away from arriving at dealerships across the country, Mustang 6G has revealed some of the options buyers will get to choose from. The first decision they'll have to make is to select from one of ten colors, including Race Red, Avalanche Grey and Triple Yellow. Options range from 20-inch alloys to Recaro leather seats, while buyers will also have to decide whether the EcoBoost and GT Performance packages, priced at $1,995 and $2,495, are worth the additional cash.
Alternatively they could opt for the 50th anniversary package that comes with special interior accents, 19-inch alloys, and is priced at $1,595. The leaked info also shows an SVT model codenamed P8J believed to be the Shelby GT350 or GT500. This is rumored to have well over 450 horsepower, as well as a choice of leather or Alcantara sports seats.
