Although it won't have its official debut until next week at Detroit, the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Volt has just had a sneak preview at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada. No official details have been announced so far, but what we can bring you today are several photos of the new Volt's front-end. What we also know is that power will come from a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired up with a new extended range electric vehicle propulsion system.

Word has it that this combo, along with a lower curb weight, will produce an additional 5 to 12 percent greater efficiency over the outgoing model. After only a few minutes on stage, GM quickly put the covers back on. We'll have complete specs and details shortly, but for now enjoy these images.
