Now all that's left is the official debut.
Nissan first revealed its totally redesigned Maxima during the Super Bowl late last month. Then only a few days later it released a pair of images of the new flagship sedan. The reaction, as we expected it would be, was mixed. Some of you liked the design and somewhat radical styling of the new Maxima while others feel Nissan went overboard. To each their own, but what we can now reveal are images of the new car's interior. Overall, the design is clean and quite sporty.
We especially like the flat-bottom steering wheel and bucket seats. Also note the center console which is now angled towards the driver. There's a large infotainment screen in the center of the dash providing an even greater sense of premium refinement. Official details obviously aren't available just yet, but a full reveal is expected at the New York Auto Show in April.
