2019 Chevrolet Blazer Starts At Less Than $30,000

Pricing

That makes the entry-level Blazer cheaper than the Ford Edge.

Back in June, Chevrolet announced the rebirth of an icon: the all-new Blazer. Its bold styling made it look like a Camaro SUV, but we didn’t know how much the stylish SUV is going to cost – until now. Chevrolet has now confirmed that pricing for the 2019 Blazer will start at $29,995 for the entry-level L trim, which makes it very competitive against similar two-row midsize crossovers.

The 2019 Ford Edge, for example, starts at $30,990, while the 2018 Nissan Murano starts at $31,795, which is nearly $2,000 more than the Blazer.

“The Blazer’s design offers customers a crossover that can exceed their needs, matching their unique personality,” said Steve Majoros, Chevrolet marketing director for Cars and Crossovers. “Blazer sets a new design language for Chevy’s crossover family and extends our momentum into one of the industry’s fastest-growing segments.”

For less than $30,000, the Chevrolet Blazer L comes with a naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that delivers 193 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission. It's well equipped too, as you also get an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry and starting, heated mirrors, and 18-inch alloy wheels as standard.

Moving up the range, the blacked-out RS features a “sporty, street-inspired look,” while chrome elements add a touch of luxury to the range-topping Premium trim. Both the RS and Premium trims ride on larger 20-inch wheels and utilize a 3.6-liter V6 that sends 305 horsepower through the same nine-speed automatic. The V6 unit is also optional for the L trim and all-wheel drive is available on all trims.

Other optional luxuries available include a panoramic sunroof, heated rear seats, a rear camera mirror, adaptive cruise control, and a suite of active safety features. Pricing details for the RS and Premium trims are being kept under wraps for now, but expect more details to be revealed closer to launch when the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer goes on sale in January 2019.
