At this year's New York Motor Show, the Mazda CX-3 received a mild refresh for 2019. The exterior looks identical to the outgoing model at first glance, but there are some subtle tweaks including a new front grille, chrome accents, 18-inch aluminum wheels, restyled LED taillights and a new Soul Red Crystal paint option. Inside, the changes are more noticeable. Mazda has added an electronic parking brake that increases the storage space, along with a central armrest and redesigned seats with improved support.

Mazda has now revealed pricing details for the subcompact crossover. Due to go on sale later this month, the 2019 Mazda CX-3 has a starting MSRP of $20,390. That's a $290 increase, but you do get more standard equipment in the new base model. As standard, the entry-level CX-3 Sport now comes with a Direct Tire Pressure Monitoring System and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, fabric-upholstered seats, power windows, power remote door locks, power mirrors, push-button start, two USB ports, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear-view camera and Bluetooth hands-free calling and audio pairing.

The Mazda Connect infotainment system features a 7-inch, full-color display that can be controlled through voice command or the multi-function Commander control knob. For an extra $1,100, you can also equip Mazda's new Sport i-ActivSense Package, which adds a plethora of advanced safety tech. The package includes Advanced Smart City Brake Support with Pedestrian Detection, Smart Brake Support, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go function. It also adds Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Control, Adaptive Front-lighting System, Active Driving Display, rain-sensing windshield wipers, automatic climate control, automatic on/off LED headlights and LED combination taillights.

Starting at $22,475, the mid-level CX-3 Touring adds 18-inch wheels, Keyless Entry, heated side mirrors, automatic on/off LED headlights, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers and new piano black pillar accents. The interior has also been upgraded with a leather shift knob and leather steering wheel, while the front passenger seat adds a new manual seat lifter. The i-ActivSense Package is also offered for the Touring model at a cost of $1,000, as well as a Touring Preferred Equipment Package for $1,410. The latter adds a Bose seven-speaker premium sound system, power glass moonroof, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD radio, and a cargo cover.

Topping the range is the CX-3 Grand Touring. Starting at $26,720, the model includes Parchment or black full-leather seating surfaces with high-gloss, pleated piping. There are also chrome accents on the front bumper and side sills, as well as the design of the LED combination tail lights. The Grand Touring model comes with an Active Driving Display head-up unit, power moonroof, adaptive LED headlights, LED fog lights, LED daytime running lights, Mazda Navigation, and paddle shifters. If you want even more luxury, a Grand Touring Premium Package is available for an extra $710, adding a six-way power driver's seat, power driver's lumbar support, 2-position driver memory system.

It also includes a heated steering wheel, Traffic Sign Recognition and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. No matter which model you opt for, US-spec CX-3s are equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 148 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. An optional all-wheel drive system is also available for an additional $1,400.
