One of the reasons why the Ram 1500 recently surpassed the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 in the full-size pickup truck sales war is because Ram is actually selling two generations of the truck at once. The 2019 Ram 1500 and Ram 1500 Classic have each found plenty of buyers. The latter caters specifically to those looking for a full-size truck bargain and the plan has worked like a charm. But just because someone is in the market for a well-priced truck with an older design doesn't mean they're not looking for some added style.

Presenting the Mojave Sand Package for the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock. The Ram 1500 Classic Warlock, whose name dates back to 1976, features Ram Rebel-like exterior styling elements, such as the bold grille with R-A-M lettering, along with a one-inch lift suspension, heavy-duty shocks, powder-coated bumpers front and rear, tow hooks, and more.

The new Mojave Sand Package, available in Quad or Crew Cab configuration, tacks on a sport performance hood, black-painted 20-inch aluminum wheels and, of course, Mojave Sand exterior body paint. Prefer a different exterior color? No problem, as Ram also offers the truck in Blue Streak, Bright Silver Metallic, Bright White, Diamond Black, Delmonico Red, Flame Red, Granite Crystal Metallic, Maximum Steel, Pearl White, and True Blue.

Buyers will also be able to choose an engine, either the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 or the 5.7-liter Hemi V8. Both are paired to a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and 4x2 and 4x4 configurations are available as well.

Pricing begins at $35,345, not including the $1,695 destination fee. "The Ram 1500 Classic Warlock continues to prove that value never goes out of style," said Reid Bigland, Head of Ram Brand. "With the addition of the popular Mojave Sand exterior paint option, this truck will continue to resonate positively with buyers."
