2020 Acura NSX Gets A Crazy Discount

Pricing / Comments

This is an absolute steal.

As a successor to one of the most iconic supercars of the 1990s, the next-generation Acura NSX had a lot to live up to. While the new NSX is a very impressive, stylish, and technologically advanced supercar, it's safe to say that sales have fallen well below Acura's expectations, even for a low volume supercar.

Last year, Acura only sold 238 units in the US. So far this year, Acura has shipped just 54 NSX cars in America. Normally, the Acura NSX carries a price tag of $157,500 making it the most expensive car in Acura's model range, but Acura has offered some generous discounts for the mid-engine hybrid supercar.

Last year, Acura slashed $20,000 off the 2019 NSX to entice new buyers, and now the 2020 Acura NSX is being offered with another huge discount.

According to a dealer incentive bulletin obtained by CarsDirect, the 2020 Acura NSX is eligible for a $20,000 discount when purchased with a loan or leasing through Acura Financial Services, which is a massive saving. Despite its slow sales, Acura isn't planning to discontinue the NSX any time soon as it's an ideal halo car for the brand. No updates have been announced for the 2021 Acura NSX, but rumors claim the long-awaited NSX Spider will debut for the 2021 model year. We're also still waiting for the more powerful NSX Type R to arrive.

This isn't the only Acura model that's currently available with a huge discount, either. Acura is also offering up to $12,000 offthe flagship RLX sedan. Unlike the NSX, this deal doesn't require financing or leasing through Acura Financial Services.

Most versions of the Acura TLX are also available with an $8,700 discount when leasing, plus a $1,500 loyalty discount bringing the total to $10,200 in potential savings. Alternatively, if you're planning to buy a TLX, Acura Financial Services is offering an incentive of up to $5,000.
