The 2020 Acura TLX arrived in dealerships back in April, but the only notable changes were a selection of new premium paint options. If you're looking for something more sporty, however, the stunning 2020 Acura TLX PMC Edition is now arriving in select US dealerships – but prepare to pay a premium price for the limited-edition model.

Whereas the 2020 Acura TLX V6 AWD will set you back $45,950 (plus a $995 destination charge), Acura has confirmed the new PMC Edition starts at $50,945 including the $1,995 destination and handling fee. Limited to just 360 examples, the 2020 TLX PMC Edition is handbuilt by the same technicians that assemble the NSX supercar at Acura's Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio.

Sitting at the top of the 2020 TLX lineup, the PMC Edition features Acura's 3.5-liter direct-injected i-VTEC V6 powertrain and torque-vectoring Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive. It combines the premium features of the TLX Advance Package with the sporty character of the TLX A-Spec. Exclusive exterior design elements include stunning Valencia Red Pearl paint, a body-colored grille surround, gloss black painted roof and door handles, gloss black 19-inch wheels, body-colored side mirror housings, and dark chrome four-inch dual exhaust finishers.

Inside, the TLX PMC Edition features black Milano leather seats with Alcantara inserts, black piping and red stitching for the seats, door panels, and center armrest. An A-Spec steering wheel includes perforated black leather, red stitching and metal-finished paddle shifters. Other luxuries include a premium audio system with 10 speakers, heated and ventilated front seats, and navigation with Apple Carplay and Android Auto integration. An individually numbered serial plaque on the lower console also designates the 2020 TLX PMC Edition as one of 360 units being built at the Performance Manufacturing Center.

Each TLX PMC Edition even receives the same quality control process a the NSX supercar, including a dyno check, paint inspection, rough-road simulation and water leak test. To protect the paint during shipping, the PMC Edition is wrapped in a specially designed car cover and transported to Acura dealers via enclosed, single-car carriers.
