Out of its three-model lineup, the Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid are Chrysler's most popular sellers. Chrysler recently announced pricing for the 2020 models along with a new, lower-priced minivan called the Voyager. To help keep its popular minivan relevant in the market, Chrysler has taken a page from its FCA siblings by offering numerous special editions and appearance packages.

For 2019, Chrysler offered a 35th Anniversary Package and for the 2020 model year, the company will offer a new Red S Edition. "There's nothing better than a minivan at moving both people and stuff, and Chrysler Pacifica allows owners to haul with a bit more style," said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars - Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA North America. "One out of every three Pacifica models sold features the blacked-out S Appearance. The Pacifica's new Red S Edition takes that factory customization even further, giving families a chance to really make a statement in the school drop-off line."

Most of the changes for the Red S Edition package are found in the interior. The minivan features exclusive Rodeo Red premium Nappa leather two-tone seats paired with Light Diesel Gray stitching and piping as well as an 'S' logo on the seatbacks. Silver Metal Brush hydro bezels can be on the instrument panel and door trim, while the package also includes the Advanced SafetyTec package, a 20-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system, and KeySense.

The exterior is upgraded with Black Noise Chrysler wing badges with Velvet Red inserts and 20-inch wheels (18-inch on Pacifica Hybrid) with a Black Noise finish. Buyers will have a choice of six exterior colors including a new-for-2020 color called Ceramic Grey Clear Coat.

The Red S Edition package is now available on the gas and hybrid (late availability) Pacifica models for $3,995. If you like the look of the Red S Edition but can live without the safety technology, upgraded audio, and keyless entry, the S Appearance model will still be available for $795 - adding black accents inside and out, 18-inch wheels black wheels, and black seats with Light Diesel Gray accents and the 'S' logo.
