Much to everyone's surprise, Chrysler revived the Voyager nameplate last month with the reveal of a "new" minivan aimed at budget-conscious buyers. The new name, however, just a way for Chrysler to split the Pacifica line in two since the Voyager will just be a Pacifica in base trim. At the time, Chrysler didn't confirm pricing details for the new Voyager, but CarsDirect has managed to obtain order guides that reveal how much Chrysler's new budget-friendly minivan will set you back.

According to CarsDirect, the order guides show that the Voyager L will start at $28,480 including the destination charge. Moving up the range, the Voyager LX will start at $31,290, while the range-topping LXI variant will only be sold to fleet customers for $34,490. For comparison, the current Chrysler Pacifica ranges from $28,730 to $46,190, while the plug-in hybrid starts at $41,740 and tops out at $47,290. As CarsDirect points out, the Voyager L has almost the exact same starting price as the Dodge Grand Caravan, which will still be sold for the 2020 model year.

Compared to the Pacifica, the Voyager won't be offered with advanced driver assistance features like automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control in order to keep the price down. Advanced safety features like blind spot warning and parking assist will still be available, but they won't be offered as standard. The range-topping LX trim can also be equipped with heated seats and a heated steering wheel, while the fleet-only LXi adds leatherette seats, remote start, a roof rack, second-row sunshades, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and Stow 'n' Go seats.

Despite the cutbacks, the Voyager is still well equipped. L and LX trims include a 3.5-inch display in the gauge cluster and a Uconnect infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen, while higher trims come with a larger 8.4-inch screen. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and satellite radio also come as standard. Like the Pacifica, the Voyager is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 producing 287 horsepower.
