The Jeep Gladiator continues to be a phenomenal success for the off-road brand as it not only brings in repeat customers but also thousands of new ones. There's simply nothing else quite like the Gladiator out there and Jeep is being rewarded for that. Although the Gladiator doesn't come cheap and many customers are loading them up with features (average price last year came to nearly $60,000), the automaker has still decided to get 2020 off to a solid sales start.

Cars Direct has learned there's a nationwide dealer incentive offering a $2,000 bonus for all 2020 Gladiator models, except for the Rubicon. This isn't entirely unusual for Jeep as it has done similar past offers, though those were typically either loyalty offers for current Jeep owners, or for those who traded in a competitor for a Jeep.

This time around the bonus is for everyone. A couple of grand may not sound like much at first, but some dealerships are offering even more substantial discounts. For example, one dealership in California is advertising Gladiators with a $7,000 discount in addition to the $2k factory bonus. Again, dealership discounts vary by dealer, so it's important to take your time and shop around, especially when it could be possible to save as much as $9,000. But no matter where you live, that $2k discount is yours.

If this sounds good, then you have until February 3 when the offer expires. But why is Jeep offering such discounts right now? Don't they typically come towards the end of the year and not in the first month of the new one? Sometimes yes, but in this case Jeep clearly wants to start 2020 Gladiator sales with a bang.

If you prefer to lease a 2020 Gladiator, then there are some attractive offers here as well. Earlier this month, a Gladiator Sport lease offer was listed in California for $310 a month for 36 months with $4,004 due at signing, but now that same Gladiator's lease price has been reduced to $259 a month for the same period and $3,970 upfront.
