Nissan has confirmed pricing for the 2020 Pathfinder, which is currently arriving in dealers - and the good news is there is only a modest price increase. According to Nissan, the base model starts at $31,680, which is only a $150 increase over last year's model.

Moving up the range, the SV trim starts at $34,470 representing a $100 increase and adds fog lights, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter among other upgrades.

Upgrading to the SL trim will set you back $38,090, which is only $70 more than last year's model, and adds LED low-beam headlights, heated exterior mirrors, heated first- and second-row seats, a motion-activated liftgate, and a surround-view camera.

Finally, the range-topping Platinum trim starts at $42,920, which is only $50 more than last year's model. This trim adds 20-inch alloy wheels, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering column, climate-controlled front seats, a Bose 13-speaker premium sound system, and a dual-panel moonroof. All prices exclude the $1,045 destination and handling fee, and all trims are available with front- or all-wheel drive.

If you were expecting any major upgrades for the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder for the higher cost, prepare to be disappointed. All 2020 Pathfinder models are equipped with a 284-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 paired with a CVT Xtronic transmission. According to Nissan, the 2020 Pathfinder's standard maximum towing capacity is a best-in-class of up to 6,000 pounds when properly equipped.

Inside, the 2020 Patherfinder includes Nissan's innovative EZ Flex Seating System with Latch and Glide, a second-row tilt and glide seat that allows easy 3rd-row access with a child safety seat still installed. Available tech includes blind-spot view monitor, Bose 13-speaker premium audio system, dual panorama moonroof, motion-activated liftgate with liftgate position memory, and navigation.

Nissan is also offering a special Rock Creek Edition package that adds unique exterior and interior enhancements for the 2020 Pathfinder SV and SL grades, including a black trim grille, unique wheels, and black roof rails. Every Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition also includes a standard trailer tow hitch and harness and splash guards.
