Following last week's teasers, Rezvani has revealed the all-new 2020 Tank SUV. The old Tank was already one of the most extreme SUVs ever made, but the new model takes the insanity to the next level. Based on the new JL-generation Jeep Wrangler and featuring a steel body-on-frame design, the 2020 Rezvani Tank is billed as the company's "most extreme and capable model to date," and we're certainly inclined to believe that.

Under the hood of the range-topping Tank X is the same 6.2-liter supercharged V8 found in the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, tuned to deliver over 1,000 horsepower and 870 lb-ft of torque. According to Rezvani, this makes the 2020 Tank the most powerful production SUV in the world, although the automaker hasn't confirmed any performance specifications. Other engine options include a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 producing 285 hp, a 6.4-liter V8 good for 500 hp, and a 3.0-liter V6 diesel rated at 285 hp.

Despite the rugged military-inspired appearance, Rezvani says the 2020 Tank is designed to be a daily driver. The design is inspired by some of the world's most recognizable military vehicles, but designed for civilian use. With its aggressive grille and sleek lines, the exterior looks similar to the outgoing Tank, but a lot of work has been done to improve the suspension system to make the new model "one of the most planted and comfortable SUV's on the planet".

"The focus of this generation's Tank was to be athletic in design and stance, have a refined sports car ride and suspension, have a luxurious interior, and surpass 1,000 horsepower all in a car that's easily a daily driver", says CEO Ferris Rezvani.

While the 2020 Rezvank Tank is more refined, it's still a very capable off-roader thanks to tis 37-inch tires, Fox Racing suspension, Dynatrac axle set with air lockers and an air compressor. It's also equipped with Dynatrac ProGrip front and rear brakes, front 1350 and rear 1410 driveshafts, and optional Fox Racing 3.0 Internal Bypass Shocks with DSC. A roof-mounted LED light bar also enhance the driver's visibility.

Inside, many elements of the luxurious cabin are fully customizable including the seat style, stitching, and even the color of the gauge cluster. Leather seats and a suede headliner give the interior an air of luxury, while a 7.9-inch central infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay provides access to features like Google Maps, Pandora, Stitcher, and a range of apps optimized for use on and off road.

The Rezvani Tank famously offered Ballistic Armor Protection, but the 2020 Tank now offers protection against electromagnetic pulses as well, just in case of a nuclear apocalypse. Other security features include FLIR Thermal Night Vision, bulletproof glass, military-grade run flat tires, underside explosive protection, a self-sealing fuel tank, armored radiator, ram bumpers, electrified door handles, sirens and strobe lights, a smoke screen, and continuous video surveillance uploaded to the cloud.

Pricing for the all-new 2020 Rezvani Tank starts at $155,000, but the Tank Military Edition starts at $295,000 and the range-topping Tank X starts at a whopping $349,000. Customer deliveries will start in the next few weeks.
