It was only last month when the Acura announced its RDX luxury SUV had received the PMC Edition treatment for 2021, packed with cool upgrades. Today, the luxury Japanese brand has announced official pricing for the Acura RDX PMC Edition, and to sum it up, it's an amazing bargain. Pricing will begin at $51,000, not including the $1,995 destination fee. Remember, the PMC Edition is equipped with upgrades from the RDX Advance Package combined with some styling cues from the RDX A-Spec. So why are we saying it's a bargain?

Look no further than the list of standard features. Included are gloss black 20-inch split-5-spoke wheels, gloss black roof panels with a panoramic roof, a diamond grille pattern, also in gloss black with body-color grille surround, and dual black chrome exhaust pipes.

Inside you'll find Ebony Milano leather sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with A-Spec badge and orange stitching. Additional standard bits include a 10.5-inch color head-up display, 16-way power-adjustable front seats, and heated front and rear seats. Under the hood lies a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Also standard is the excellent Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system.

Now, the priciest non-PMC Edition 2021 RDX available requires the Advance Package with the SH-AWD system and those 20-inch black-diamond cut wheels.

That amounts to nearly $51,500 and you're still not getting the PMC Edition's striking Thermal Orange exterior paint color that's shared with the Acura NSX supercar. Applying it to the vehicle requires an intricate process of applying multiple base coats via an advanced robotic paint system. It requires a full five days from start to finish on paint and curing. Basically, customers are getting every available feature and then some for less money than a fully-loaded regular RDX.

If this all sounds good to you then you need to act fast. Very fast. Only 360 RDX PMC Editions are planned and the first customer deliveries will begin next Thursday, October 29.
