The Aston Martin DB11 is already very elegant, but that hasn't stopped the British automaker from injecting the grand tourer with some extra style. For the 2021 model year, Aston Martin is introducing a new stylish special edition of the DB11. Dubbed the Aston Martin DB11 Shadow Edition, the limited-edition grand tourer has been given some special exterior enhancements that "reinforce its sporting character."

Available as a DB11 Coupe or DB11 Volante, the new Shadow Edition combines selected options already available for the grand tourer and new bespoke design features including Gloss Black hood blades, 20-inch directional alloy wheels in Gloss Black, polished black chrome wings and script badges, and black anodized Shadow Edition sill plaques.

Inside, the Shadow Edition is equipped with a sports steering wheel with Pure Black Alcantara and Obsidian Black leather. Completing the DB11 Shadow Edition's stealthy look is an optional pack that changes the standard body-colored panels to Gloss Black, which complements the Shadow Edition theme.

"We have carefully selected the Shadow Edition design elements to subtly yet noticeably alter the DB11's appearance - moving it further towards a more assertive and purposeful GT style," said Marek Reichman, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin Lagonda. "By painstakingly packaging together key styling elements in the new Shadow Edition we have given this small group of DB11 V8-powered sports cars their own visual character that clearly marks them out as new and different."

If the standard specification doesn't suit your taste, further customization options are also available for the Aston Martin DB11 Shadow Edition including six exterior colors, different color options for the brake calipers, and matching interior stitching colors. Like all DB11s, power is provided by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 503 horsepower and 513 lb-ft of torque.

Production of the Aston Martin DB11 Shadow Edition will be limited to just 300 units worldwide. Aston Martin is already accepting orders for the DB11 Shadow Edition, which starts at $222,600.
