Got money to dump on a gargantuan, ostentatious vehicle? Are the regular Cadillac Escalade and extended Escalade ESV just not doing it for you?

Enter Lexani Motorcars of California and its latest creation: the 2021 Cadillac Escalade Mobile Office. Based on GM's all-new luxurious Cadillac Escalade ESV, the Escalade Mobile Office looks something like a rolling cigar lounge, with quilted-leather upholstery, multiple rear-seat displays, a luminescent starlight headliner, and limo-style rear seat rows that face each other for mobile conferencing. Details are scarce as of now, but Lexani shared a few photos of the opulent Escalade Mobile Office, and it looks absolutely resplendent.

Lexani is now taking preorders for the ultra-luxurious custom Cadillac Escalade Mobile Office, which will run between $250,000 and $450,000, depending on the trim level, the configuration, and the level of armoring. Yes, armoring, because of course the Escalade Mobile Office will offer ballistics-resistance as an option.

That's something that Lexani Motorcars has plenty of experience with, outfitting numerous Cadillac, Lincoln, Mercedes-Benz, and other vehicles with ballistic defenses including advanced armored plating, projectile-resistant glass, and run-flat tires.

Compared to some of Lexani's past custom vehicles, we'd expect the Cadillac Mobile Office to embrace more of a work-focused attitude, with less emphasis on the entertainment amenities, and more on things that actually support mobile office work.

Alas, if you were hoping to climb into one sooner rather than later, you might have to exercise some patience; Lexani Motorcars isn't expected to begin deliveries until late in 2020. On the plus side, that gives you plenty of time to research what sorts of ballistic protections and amenities you want.

The Cadillac Escalade itself is all-new for the 2021 model year, featuring an independent rear suspension design for the first time, just like the GMC Yukon and Chevrolet Suburban. The result of the change should be a smoother, more supple ride, making it the perfect candidate for an opulent mobile office makeover.
