The Chrysler Pacifica was given an extensive refresh for the 2021 model year, and now we finally know how much the updated minivan will cost. For the first time, all gasoline-powered Pacifica models are available with all-wheel-drive, new standard safety assists, and upgraded interior tech, but this has inevitably bumped up the price.
Sitting at the bottom of the range, the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Touring starts at $35,045, a $1,000 increase over last year's model. Adding AWD increases the start price to $38,040. The 2021 Chrysler Voyager, on the other hand, starts at $27,235, which is only $250 more expensive.
Topping the 2021 Pacifica range is the new luxurious Pinnacle trim, which adds Nappa leather seats with quilted seat bolsters, perforated seat inserts on all three rows, second-row lumbar pillows, a new integrated console that moves the armrests from the seats to the console while providing half a cubic foot of extra storage.
These luxuries come at a cost, however, as the AWD Pacifica Pinnacle Hybrid starts at $50,845, while the AWD version will set you back at least $53,390 - that's nearly $10,000 more expensive than the most expensive 2020 Pacifica Red S Edition. All prices exclude a $1,495 destination charge.
To refresh the styling, the exterior features a redesigned grille, new standard LED headlights, and full-width taillights, while the interior includes a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and FCA's new Uconnect 5 infotainment system.
Standard safety tech includes blind-spot monitoring, a rear park assist, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking. Powering the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica is a 3.6-liter V6 producing 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Pacifica Hybrid pairs the 3.6-liter V6 with two electric motors to produce 260 hp and provide an all-electric range of 30 miles
According to Chrysler, the 2021 Pacifica and 2021 Voyager will arrive in dealers Q4, 2020.
